- Hiking - The trails in Colorado range from beginners to experts so there is a trail for everyone! We have peaks higher than 14,000 feet (known as 14ers), wildflowers, waterfalls, and the most stunning views! Many trails leave right from the town where you are staying.
- Biking - Mountain, Road or Cruiser - Similar to hiking, there is a biking trail for all levels! You can choose from biking around town and grabbing a bite to eat, road biking along the paved bike paths, or mountain biking! There are plenty of bike rentals around town to assist you with a fun day on 2 wheels!
- White Water Rafting, Fishing, SUP, Sailing - Are you craving the excitement of white water rafting or simply enjoying a stand up paddling day on Lake Dillon? If you would rather be fly fishing or sailing, we have plenty of options for you!
- Golf - The golf courses in Summit County offer magnificent views in classic mountain settings. Be sure to reserve tee times, golf is a very popular summer activity in Summit County!
- Camping / Backpacking - There’s no guarantee you’ll be able to totally unplug from digital life on a camping trip, but Colorado will make sure you have all the inspiration to do so. There’s no better way to get close to the state’s abundant wilderness areas than by making one of its campgrounds home for a few nights, either in a tent under the stars or a fully equipped RV.
- Thrill Seeking - With the Alpine Slide and the Gold Runner alpine roller coaster in Breckenridge you can get your adrenaline rush, whilst marveling at the incredible views from the top of the mountains.
- Rock Climbing - Grab your chalk-bag and stretch out those fingers because Summit County has some excellent climbing spots for everyone from the beginner to the 5.13 lead climber.
- Disc Golf - The High Country disc golf scene is blowing up. Frisco and Dillon have incredible courses along Lake Dillon and of course, bring your mini-cooler to stash your beers and water for your dogs because both are a prerequisite if you're going out on the links for 18 holes!
- Shopping - From the Dillon Farmers Market where you can find unique gifts and tasty treats, to the upscale boutiques on Main Street, there are plenty of shopping opportunities for you to buy a present for someone at home, or to treat yourself to something special.
- Horseback Riding - Saddle up, pardner! If you're admiring the mountains around you, just itching to get out into the thick of it, a horseback ride is one of the best ways to experience the area.
